This was the last night I tried to record for migrants in '06. What a surprise to pick up this call. At first, I thought the two "screeches" might be related to some kind of mechanical noise from the passing vehicle. But after comparing to Barn Owl call on Evans/O'Brien Flight Call CD and the fact that the second call gets stronger as the vehicle moves further away, I am pretty confident of the ID. |
